  34. I have had a similar problem. My internal V34+ will not recieve *ANY*  FAX. When
  35. it answers there is no handshake just silence until the modem hangs up.

  37. I called USR. They are sending me a new supervisor chip. There is apparently one
  38. with a date of March '96 to replace the 10/13/95 chip that I have. I was told
  39. that this was a known problem and the updated ROM fixes it????
